S2 Swimming Dates

See the link to the Semester 2 Swimming dates for your class, please communicate this with your students and parents. The PE Team will be doing the same.
This is also available on the  ES Physical Education Website. The first lesson will take place on Day 2 Monday January 29th. 

***** Currently the pool is under repair due to a leak the aim is to be ready for this start date, if this changes we will communicate this closer to the start date *******

Red Hat Free Dress Day

This Friday the money raised from Free Dress Day will go to help the Chin Women's Organization and specifically their school. 

The Chin people are refugees from Myanmar. The Malaysian Government does not allow refugees to use the health and medical facilities, allow adults to work, or allow the children to go to local schools. As a result, refugees and their support groups, have had to set up and fund their own schools. They rely on donations for paying rent on the school buildings and buying supplies, equipment and resources for their students.

Our Red Hats Free Dress Day donations this Friday  will go to the Chin Women's Organization School and will help them tremendously! 

The head volunteer at the school is Janine WIlliams. She is a change-maker who has been a teacher at the Chin Women's Organization School for many years. Janine has two daughters who have graduated from ISKL, and is very dedicated to the cause.

Free Dress Day - Friday, Aug. 25th

This Friday is our first Free Dress Day...

As always we ask that the students bring RM5 as a donation to a local organization. This week's donation will be going to the Children's Cancer Hospital. 

We frequently donate to this hospital as it's a place where 5th grade Red Hats go to volunteer their time. 

The money goes to the nurses who work at the hospital and they, in turn, give it to patients in need of a little financial help. 

Your donation goes directly to those who need it most.

Thank you and know that you are making a difference in our local community.
